Prepare to hit the trail: Successful QM Implementation Strategies

 Implementing Quality Matters for your institution may initially seem like a clear and easy choice. If you're like us, you want to ensure the quality and continual improvement of your online and hybrid course offerings. You may have reviewed QM alternatives and considered feedback from faculty who have experience with other models. Now that you've chosen to pursue the implementation of QM at your institution, maybe you've realized that there's more to this implementation process than you initially thought. In this session, we'll discuss the structure of our implementation plan including benchmarks and reporting data. You'll hear about the challenges that we faced as we blazed a new trail to implement QM at our institution. We'll discuss how we overcame the challenge of engaging administration, faculty and staff as well as the benefits we've experienced as we work to systematically build and evaluate our courses based on the rigorous, research-supported QM standards. Participants will create realistic benchmarks for their institution and discuss ways to engage faculty, administration and staff throughout their QM implementation.
